FarmulaOne
Pig Signals®: Look, think and act!
Pig Signals®, recognising early signs of discomfort, deals with detailed looking, careful thinking and proper acting. Put these three steps in a chronological order solves problems and prevents 'farm blindness'.
Three books are published in the series Pig Signals®: a first general book and two theme-editions about finishing pigs and sows.
FarmulaOne also gives ‘Pig Signals®’-lectures and practical training ranging from 2 hours to 2 days. The practical training starts with teaching participants how to look. Looking with an open mind often causes unexpected and surprising disclosures! The things which are noticed by the particpants are analysed group-wise (the thinking-part), and a maximised number of concrete action points are drawn up (the acting part).
Meanwhile, 'Pig Signals®' is known in many countries. Up til now practical training is provided for in Germany, The Netherlands, Great-Britain and France.
